Thank you for your kind suggestion, Phil. We have considered this venue before, but have decided that it was a bit large and forbidding and formal for our modest meetings. However, since we found we were decidedly overwhelmed with attendees at the last meeting, it might well be time we reconsidered that decision. I can promise that I'll raise it at the next meeting of our committee. I had to grovel and apologise at the last Poetry Show as so many people turned up that they couldn't all be accommodated comfortably. We definitely don't want that to happen again, or a any rate, I don't

The number of people who turned out was too great for the chosen venue, and obviously bigger than we expected: but that's the sort of problem I guess any organiser of a poetry event wouldn't mind having! We'll try to do better next time. Thank you for both your work and your patience with us
